Cookie Policy
Last updated: 25 April 2026
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, how Ypodoxi uses them, and what choices you have. For broader information about how we handle your personal data, please read our Privacy Policy.
1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit it. They allow the site to remember information about your visit — such as whether you are logged in — so that the site works correctly and consistently across pages and sessions.
Cookies can be "session" cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or "persistent" cookies (stored for a defined period). They can be set by the website you visit ("first-party") or by external services the website uses ("third-party").
2. Cookies We Set
Ypodoxi uses only the cookies necessary to operate the platform. We do not use advertising or behavioural tracking cookies.
| Cookie | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
session | Strictly necessary | Keeps you authenticated while using your account dashboard | Session |
_csrf | Strictly necessary | Protects form submissions against cross-site request forgery (CSRF) attacks | Session |
lang | Functional | Remembers your chosen interface language (English / Greek) | 1 year |
3. Strictly Necessary Cookies
The session and CSRF cookies are essential for the platform to function securely. Without them you cannot log in to your account or submit any form. These cookies do not require your consent and cannot be disabled while you use the service.
4. Functional Cookies
The language preference cookie remembers which language you selected so you do not need to choose again on your next visit. It does not track you across websites. You can delete it at any time via your browser settings.
5. Third-Party Cookies — Stripe
When you access a payment page (for example, to enter or update billing details), Stripe, Inc. may set cookies on your device to detect fraud and ensure secure payment processing. These cookies are governed by Stripe's own cookie policy: stripe.com/cookies-policy.
6. Analytics
We do not currently use analytics cookies or any third-party tracking service (such as Google Analytics). If we introduce analytics in the future, this policy will be updated and where required by law you will be asked for consent before any analytics cookies are set.
7. Managing Cookies
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Please be aware that disabling strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from logging in to your Ypodoxi account.
